The International Federation of Cat Amateurs (FiFe) approved for each cat breed its standard, which describes the perfect animal type. Standards are the basic document for cat amateurs in determining animal exterrier. They contain information on the building of parts of the body of the cat, its wool cover, the constitution. The general description of the body takes into account the proportions, dimensions, skeletal, leg height and the thickness of the foot, shape and length of the tail, followed by the head (general shape, width, length, nose bending, jaw, taste, ribbing, position and size of the ear, shape and weight of the eye, their colour).
Cat breeds are divided into long-seater (persian, Persian cologne, Balinese, Pequin, Cumeric), semi-long-short (Birman, Turkish, Norwegian, Somali, Mainotic, Denot, etc.), short-short (British, European, Russian, Russian).
